Obsolete Locks ? What Do We Do ?

On occassions Lockkeys Locksmiths St Helens come across upvc locks on customers doors that have failed but are no longer available as they are now obsolete (No Longer Made) so what can we do ?
When upvc door multipoint locks are no longer available their is an option to use whats called a multipoint lock repair lock. These will replace most obsolete locks but normally require quite a bit of work on the door to make them fit and unless ytouve done this before I would not reccomend customers to do it themselves.
At Lockkeys Locksmiths St Helens we will always inform customers of their choices when a lock is obsolete but we do not fit locks that a customer has bought themselves simply because we are unable to guarantee any locks that we have not supplied.
