Restricted Keys - What Are They ?

by Derek Mercer - 01:39 on 18 June 2023

If your looking for a way of protecting your keys from unauthorised duplication then its a restricted key system that provides the answer. Restricted keys like the Evva pictured above require authorisation from the registered owner before keys can be duplicated.

The lock manufacturer simply controls who they sell the key blanks too so that no one outside of their authorised key cutters can duplicate keys. These keys are ideal for offices, schools and care homes where a master key system is required to make door access easier for staff but also to ensure that nobody can duplicate a key without authority.

If your thinking about installing a master key system in your property then you can call Derek or Pam of Lockkeys Locksmiths St Helens on 07967 778940 to discuss your needs.
