Mental Health Courses

As a Highfield Qualifications Approved Centre we offer various courses including Mental Health at work courses for managers. Our Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace for Managers – Level 3 

Under Health & Safety Legislation the management role involves supporting employees who may present with mental ill health in the workplace and this qualification provides an understanding of the basic principles relating to supporting mental health in the workplace and promoting a positive, ‘wellness at work’ culture.  This qualification can be taken by learners preparing to enter employment or by those who are already in employment.

All our courses are provided by trained and experienced professionals in the field they are teaching.

How Long Is The Course

The Level 3 Award in Understanding Mental Health In The Workplace For Managers is over two full days.

We currently provide the course at the customers business premises. (North-West England)

What Subjects Are Covered

This is a knowledge-only qualification that provides underpinning knowledge and understanding in relation to the principles of mental health, recognising mental ill health in self and others, supporting mental wellbeing in the workplace, understanding how to engage in mental health conversations in the workplace, how to support employees in relation to their mental health and ways to manage own wellbeing.

How Is The Course Assessed

This qualification is assessed by 2 x 30 minute multiple-choice exams with a pass mark of 60% required.
